FRUIT SELECTION ROLLER
The roller allows the first selection of the process where rotten fruits or any other defectous fruits are eliminated manually. The work is hand made and the equipment consists of a roller table with an evacuated tape to the center for defective fruits. The rollers have both translational and rotational movement; the latter allows all faces of the fruit to be visible in order to facilitate selection. On both sides of the table are placed the operators responsible for performing this operation.
The roller is installed in a line, behind the emptying section.
Width and length vary according to customer requirements. Optionally, tilting rollers can be installed for leaf removal.
