There are two models of tunnels, the pre-drying tunnels used after washing the fruit and the drying tunnels, used to dry the wax after application on the fruit.
Inside both models a constant circulation of hot air is generated on the fruit that is transported by a roller conveyor. The air is generated by an exchanger and a burner that can run on gas or diesel.
Interior fans ensure proper air distribution. You can adjust the indoor temperature.
In both models (drying and pre-drying) it is ensured that the fruit is not damaged at the exit of the fruit.
In the pre-drying tunnel, the conveyor has, in addition to the translation movement, a rotation movement on the rollers that helps the process of drying the water from washing. This movement does not exist in the drying since the rubbing would spoil the waxing of the skin of the fruit.
The tunnels are provided with a roller cleaning system, folding bottom trays and side windows for cleaning and maintenance. They also have an automatic extractor for the last fruit.
