The chain drencher is a machine designed for the treatment of fruit by means of showers.

Detailed technical description:

• Structure: consists of a chain conveyor with continuous movement and variable length.
• Cabin: includes a cabin to prevent splashing to the outside, with showers located on the roof for treatment.
• Capacity: the chain allows for one or more pallets, depending on the length of the conveyor. The extension of the conveyor after treatment allows the elimination of excess water carried by the pallet and the fruit.
• Water supply: water is supplied to the showers by pumps located at the bottom of the tanks, which have a total capacity of 2000-3000 litres. On the outside, there is an indicator of the amount of water available.
• Water adjustment: the amount of water for showering the fruit can be adjusted according to the number of pallets to be treated. Each pallet with 36 field boxes (if they are plastic) needs between 8 and 10 litres of water, and the pumps require between 250 and 350 litres to operate.
• Maintenance: at the end of the job, the remaining water can be disposed of and the drencher cleaned for the next day.
• Material: it can be manufactured in stainless steel AISI 304 or galvanized steel.

This equipment is essential to guarantee an efficient and controlled treatment of the fruit, improving the quality of the final product.
